“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

Numbers 6:24-26 ESV

{24] “The Lord bless you and keep you;” There is One that controls who is being blessed. That “One” is

God the Father!

[25] “the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;” God made His face to shine upon us through God the Son. God’s grace was also poured out upon us through the death and resurrection of God the Son!

[26] “the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.” God lifted up His “face/countenance” upon us and has given us peace. God gives us peace through God the Holy Spirit that dwells in the heart of all those that Believe! .

In todays verses we have received three things from God: Blessing, Grace and Peace! Each of these are from a separate member of the Godhead.

Not only that but, We can rest assured God meant them for us as He six times in three verses uses the word “you”! God has made it personal. It’s a message to each person that has placed their trust in Jesus Christ.
